Counsellor
Hello! My name is Taylor Brost. I have completed my Master of Counselling Psychology and provide individual counselling at Indigo Psychology. I am currently pursuing certification with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
I believe that the counselling experience should be tailored to each person’s unique history, identity, and needs. My work is grounded in a biopsychosocial framework, which considers the interaction of biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors in shaping mental health. I integrate a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and person-centred therapy, to support clients with anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relational challenges.
I value therapy as a space where people can feel deeply seen, safely challenged, and meaningfully supported. Clients describe my approach as warm, curious, and thoughtful. I place a strong emphasis on collaboration, clarity, and respect in the therapeutic relationship, and I strive to offer an environment where your voice is heard and your goals are honoured.
