Individual Counselling
Individual counselling is a great choice for clients wanting to improve their quality of life. We utilize a Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) approach to help guide you to living the life you’ve always dreamed of. We are experienced in helping clients overcome a multitude of issues and concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. We work on creating a stronger sense of self through self-awareness, setting boundaries, and challenging some negative thought processes. It’s time to start living your best life! Let us help you get there.
Couples Counselling
Couples counselling is a great option if you would like to improve the quality of your relationship. We work with couples to improve their communication skills, boost understanding and empathy, and forge a path of sustainability and fulfillment. We utilize a Gottman-based approach with couples to learn how to shift the focus of what isn’t working in the relationship to what is working and developing on those skills. If beneficial, couples sessions may include individual sessions separately as well.
Child/Adolescent Counselling
Is your child or teen going through a difficult time and do you feel powerless to help? If so, child counselling may be a great option for your child to experience a truly safe space where they can explore their emotions freely without judgment. From there, we focus on finding solutions and strategies they can work on to improve their wellbeing. We work on improving self-awareness and expression, communication skills, and boundary setting- all while having fun! Let’s get started today.
Family Counselling
The goal of family counselling is to help everyone in the family understand and support each other. This form of therapy is helpful when families are feeling overwhelmed, sad and angry; when they’re unsure how to move forward; or when they feel that they are repeating the same harmful behaviours over and over. Together, we can help improve communication, empathy, and understanding within the family unit.
